InstaHangers
We have taken great pride over the years in finding unique products that can make the RVers life, safer easier and/or less frustrating. This new product certainly fits the bill and will be a great addition to most every RV or Home. The InstaHanger is unobtrusive and yet an attractive adornment. It is made of wood with a stainless steel rod to hang your clothes on. It is also available in white plastic.

I have watched my wife for years do the ironing and look for a place to hang clothes up while she is doing it. Sometimes it's on a door knob, or the refrigerator door or on top of an open door. This new product provides an instant place to hang up your clothes.
I can see one of these in the bedroom closet in your home so when you are planning to leave on a trip, you can accumulate the clothes you want. Place another one in your RV so you have a place to put the same clothes as they are sorted to go into the closet or when you are ironing them. This would be an invaluable aid for those transitions. I recommend another one in the laundry room of your home so you can hang up clothes straight out of the dryer.
The picture (shown at left) shows the InstaHanger on a wall in my RV. It is the wrong color for my rig but they didn't have the cherry model available when I needed it. It will be changed to cherry as soon as it becomes available.
Mounting Instructions:
Many RV’ers do NOT want to screw anything to the walls of their RV. The InstaHanger comes with all the necessary mounting hardware to attach it to a wall using screws and wall anchors.
Judy did not want it to be screwed to the wall so I used our High Temperature Sticky Back Hook & Loop product. In the picture you will see that there is sticky back hook and loop across the top and down the sides. InstaHangers are 18" X 3" and the rod is 12" long. The unit will hold 50 pounds when screwed to the wall but not when using hook & loop.
Tip: Don't forget, when you use hook and loop, you must attach the product to the wall and to the InstaHanger and wait 24 hours before introducing them to each other. If you don't follow this step, you can be very confident that the InstaHanger will end up on the floor. The adhesive needs to have time to setup properly.
I used full 6" strips on both sides. At the bottom I used half a strip or 3" on each side. The major stress from weight will occur at the top.
