The RV Security Motion Detecting Smart Light is the answer to dark doorways, inability to find the door lock, tripping over things around the rig and most of all SECURITY.

This 12 volt light is the only one of its kind in the market for RVers. It replaces the front door light and can also be used as a replacement for other outside lights on the rig. It works when you need it most, when you come home in the dark or when someone comes around the rig after dark.
How many times have you left in the daytime and returned after dark. finding it difficult to approach your RV safely or knowing where to put the key? Sometimes you are concerned about where to park and having a light automatically come on when you approach gives you greater visibility.

The light has two motion detectors built in providing a wide downward sweep of surveillance protection for you and your RV.
It can be set at a range of 10’ to 25’. It knows when it is dark and when it is daylight. In daylight it doesn’t come on. It also operates as a normal front door light when you want to leave it on. The Smart Light is also brighter than a normal coach light. It also has a built-in sensor that notifies you if your batteries are getting low. The Smart Light is truly smart. It won’t turn on as a result of blowing trees or animals. It has been built with the best parts available to do the job – one of those products we call “Great” not just “Good” The outside casing is white but it can also be painted to match the RV though we didn’t find it necessary.
Installation is quite simple. Remove the original light and attach the existing wires to the new unit. In many cases the existing screw holes will match up with those on the Smart Light. In some cases, like my own, the screws didn’t match up. I drilled a couple of extra holes in the mounting plate in order to mount it.
It operates off the light switch inside your coach. Turn the light on and it works like a normal light. Turn it off and on again and it works as a motion detector light. If you leave it in that position it will continue to work as a motion detector light until you turn it off. There is also a low battery warning light. This is a product, that the very first time we used, we loved it and so will you! We give it five star rating!
