There is a big difference
between the STICKY BACK HOOK & LOOP
(H&L) available for use in a motor
home or boat. It is important to realize these differences
so you can plan accordingly. There are different
requirements when using H&L
in a home, a motor home or boat. A home has more
consistency in the heat that the H&L
is exposed to, whereas a motor home or boat experiences
huge swings in temperatures. Heat is the enemy of
H&L and the traditional product
available in the marketplace is NOT
designed to handle the temperature extremes associated
with motor home and marine users.

Using Sticky
Back Hook & loop (H&L) in your
rig or boat can add a whole new dimension to your
life. It is important to properly apply the product
to maximize your results and thus your success!
There are 3 Rules that
if followed, will greatly enhance your success.
Rule
#1: Have a system.
By that we mean if
you do it the same way all the time it will work
better for you. Example: Always put the hook, or
sharp side on what doesn't move, such as the wall.
If you are hanging pictures and want to move a picture
from one spot to another, chances are you will be
able to utilize the H&L that is on the wall
again, as well as the H&L on the back of the
picture. The same reasoning applies to hanging TV
Controllers or other items.
Rule
#2: Use Enough!
How much
is enough? tough question. Think of it this way.
What's the bigger
problem using too much or too little? If it falls
off the wall, what's the consequencees? What else
will get damaged? The cost of reframing a picture,
or the floor it landed on, is a lot more than the
cost of a little extra H&L.
Rule
#3: Most important rull of all!
Before putting the two parts together, let
each side sit for 24 hours in order to
give the adhesive time to adhere properly to the
surfaces. If for example you put the H&L on
the wall and on the picture and wait for 24 hours
before putting them together, you will dramatically
increase your success.

Installation
Apply to a clean surface. If hanging an item, apply
product to surfaces to be joined but DO NOT connect
the hook and loop for 24 HOURS! This allows the
adhesive to set.
Removal
Start with a corner and pull back gently and firmly.
Using a hair dryer to heat it will make it easier.
Generally speaking thhere is no residual adhesive
left behind. If threre is, use Goo-Gone, Simple
Green or even WD-40 to remove residual.
