NOTE:
It is standard practice amongst RV’rs to turn
the power at the receptacle off before plugging
in and unplugging any cord or cable
PLUG
DOGS often commonly referred to as Pull
Dogs or Plug Pullers, fit the male and female ends
of standard 30 & 50 amp plugs and cables. Using
them makes unplugging and separating plugs much
easier!
PLUG
DOGS are
pre-punched with either three (30 amp) or four
50 amp) prong
holes. They are secured to your cable and
adapters by cinching the Hook & Loop
straps securely to the back of the plug head.

Grasp the strong,
easy to grip handles and pull out or separate bulky,
difficult to handle power plugs. They are safe to
use, as PLUG DOGS pull the plugs
out correctly, increasing the life of cables &
receptacles. PLUG DOGS are
made from heavy duty polypropylene nylon and are
non-wicking, non-conductive and non-flammable.

PLUG
DOGS work so effectively because when using
them, you are now pulling your plugs straight out
of the receptacle or straight apart from each other
– no more bending, wiggling or twisting them
to get them apart or put them back together. That
only torques and bends the prongs, thus you are
fighting against yourself and plugs become increasingly
difficult to work with. See
the 30-amp plug adaptor that has failed quite
possibly as a result of not being unplugged properly.
This will ruin the plug adapter and has the potential
to cause more serious problems.
PLUG
DOGS prevent electrical cord
breakdown that comes as a result of wiggling
and twisting the cord when unplugging.
Most users
need three PLUG DOGS. One is for
the male end of the cable coming out of your RV.
To be most effective, you also need one on both
ends of your plug adaptor also commonly known as
a “dog bone”. Once you have these installed,
you never need to take them off. Click

IMPORTANT
TIPS
To ATTACH the
PLUG DOGS to the male and female
ends of your adaptor or cable:
- First, separate the Hook & Loop straps.
- Next, put your first PLUG
DOG on the male end of the cable coming
out of your RV. Simply fit the pre-cut prong holes
over the prongs. Take the Hook & Loop straps and overlap
them on the backside of the cable and secure them
tightly. This will permanently hold the PLUG
DOG in place and you should never have
to take it off. The PLUG DOGS
will always be ready for use.
- Now
take the PLUG DOG of matching
color. If you are a 50 Amp user, you will be attaching
it to the female 50 end of your adaptor. If you
are a 30 Amp user wishing to use an adaptor to
plug into 50 AMPS, you will be attaching the second
PLUG DOG to the female 30 Amp
end of the adaptor. To accomplish this, separate
the Hook & Loop straps. With the straps facing you,
push the PLUG DOG down over the
prongs of the cable where you just attached your
first PLUG DOG. This holds the
PLUG DOG in place. Click
here to see picture.
Now connect your adaptor to the cable. Take the
Hook & Loop straps and overlap them on the backside
of the adaptor securing them very tightly just
behind the widest part of the plug head. This
will keep the Hook & Loop straps from coming forward
and your PLUG DOG from slipping
off. Click
here to see picture.
-
Put your last PLUG DOG on the
male end of the adaptor following directions (1)
and (2) above. All three of your PLUG
DOGS will now be in place. Click
here to see picture.
- If you have problems keeping the 30 Amp PLUG DOG on the female end of your adapter or extension cord, put the cords together as in #3 so they are plugged and the holes aligned. Undo the hook and Loop straps from the back of the female side of the plug. Put some Gorilla Glue on the back of the plug and re-secure the straps.

What Our Customers have to say about Plug Dogs...
"Hi Everyone! I just wanted to thank you for a TERRIFIC product. I purchased the Plug Dogs for my husband for his birthday. He, of course, looked at them like "Here's another of those wonder contraptions that only look good on TV".
Well, to make a long story short - He LOVES them! They are SOOOO much easier than trying to pry the plugs apart or jiggling them to get it out of the socket. Every motor home should come equipped with them. THANKS!!!"

How
to SEPARATE plugs using PLUG DOGS:
To separate
plugs, hang on to the rubber part of the handles
with your hands and pull your cable and adaptor
straight apart. Click
here to see picture.
You can also
separate them by leaving them on the ground. Pick
up one handle and lift the plugs off the ground
so that you can put the toe of your shoe in the
other handle. Pull straight upwards. Your adaptor
will separate from the cable effortlessly when done
this way. Initially, if your plugs are very difficult
to separate you may want to spray some silicone
on them. They will separate easier and once your
prongs get straightened out, this should no longer
be necessary. Click
here to see picture.
