Happy New Year! February 2007
  • NEW “HIGH PRESSURE - WATER CONSERVING” SHOWER HEAD
  •

    Hello Everyone,

Judy and I hope that you had a great Holiday Season with family and friends and that the weather didn't create too much havoc for you. What a season it has been weather wise. Even here in Arizona it has been unusually cold and some of our trees got terribly frost bitten. We're not sure if they will recover or not.

We had a great holiday season with our son, daughter-in-law and two of our five grandkids. They say the best thing about grandkids is you get to send them home, but we were sorry to see them leave.

You didn't get a newsletter in January because of our hectic holiday season and then our first show started January 2 in Tucson, then on to Indio, CA then Las Vegas and then down the road to Quartzsite. It felt like we hardly had time to eat. You may have seen us on the road or perhaps our team of Dave & Barbara in Florida.

Speaking of being on the road, if any of you are interested in earning income on the road and offsetting your expenses, you may want to consider being one of our road teams. We are currently looking for motivated people who enjoy the RV lifestyle and working with people. If you or someone you know is interested, drop me a line at kwilton@coilnwrap.com.

Hope your travels this year are safe, enjoyable and that the price of fuel continues to decline.
    Happy RVing.

NEW “HIGH PRESSURE - WATER CONSERVING” SHOWER HEAD
    Shower Head

This is one of the most exciting products we have introduced in a while. This revolutionary shower head uses a patented Venturi technology to dramatically increase the water pressure 3 times with no increase in water consumption. An accelerator fin speeds up the flow of water and mixes it with oxygen, increasing the oxygen content up to 10 times. The result is a pulsating, exhilarating, spa-like shower. The greater the incoming pressure from the campground, the more noticeable the increase in pressure will be. For the best high pressure shower, we recommend turning your pump on while showering..

The Shower Head comes with a kit that includes the shower head, a matching metal hose, a Comfort Control Valve and a mounting kit. The Comfort Control Valve allows you to control the water flow and even turn it almost completely off. If you are dry camping you can conserve water by reducing the water flow with the control valve. The shower uses 2.5 gpm which is the same as regular shower heads; however you can reduce the consumption to 1.5 gpm and still have great pressure.

In my rig, all I did was take off the existing shower head and screw this one right on. The existing mounting hardware was sufficient to attach the shower head.

We were staying in Quartzsite, AZ doing the big RV Show, when we first tried it. Quartzsite water is the hardest water imaginable and when I got out of the shower I told Judy that my hair felt like I had used conditioner in it, it was so soft. She said “In Quartzsite?” She then tried it and found the same thing. She and other customers and vendors who tried it all reported their hair was silky soft. Judy says “It is so refreshing. I don’t want to get out of the shower. It’s the first shower I’ve ever had that actually leaves me feeling refreshed!” I’ve already installed one in our house as well. You will probably do that too!

One of the concerns of RV’ers is that many areas have very hard water and calcium deposits which can clog up shower heads. All of the components that the water comes into contact with are made of Delrin, a material similar to Teflon. This material provides the required durability, corrosion resistance and maintenance free attributes that allow for many years of happy trouble free showering. (The bushing in the Xtreme Vent we manufacture is made of Delrin for the same reason)

NOTE: Be sure to open your roof vent before showering. With increased pressure comes increased steam and humidity. The Shower Kit is available in Chrome, Brushed Nickel and Gold.
