Well it's summertime all over the place and in Arizona it's HOT!!! Temperature today will hit 117 degrees. I'm glad I'm in Oregon where it's only 80.
We left Gillette, Wyoming where we did the Newmar Show and headed to Pueblo, Colorado to do the Family Campers RV Show and I must say we had a good time at both shows. The best part continues to be working with RVers, who are always so happy and friendly. The Battery Filler was a real hit as were the Shower Heads and many other products. The Shower Head manufacturer has discontinued the gold shower head but the chrome and brushed nickel are still available. As usual the Xtreme Vent was still the biggest seller. People just love having no odors in the rig and not having to flush money, in the form of chemicals, down the toilet.
The Rally starts next week and there should be around 4,000 rigs at it. If you are there, stop in and say hi. Hopefully we will see you down the road somewhere this summer. Travel safe.

SUMMER TIME CAMPING FUN!
Summer time means time around the fire roasting hot dogs, marshmallows and brats with family and friends. What better way to enjoy this time than with our fabulous telescoping roasting forks?. They start off small and grow up tall! They stretch from 12" to 42" in length and have a knob at the end of the handle that you can turn with your thumb to rotate the food. Imagine that! You can cook one and eat one at the same time. They come 2 to a package and can be kept in a drawer. They are made of stainless steel and won't rust and will last forever. The fork handles come in many colors so everyone can have one of their own. What a great gift idea. Quite often wind can destroy what otherwise might have been an enjoyable BBQ or time around the fire with family and friends. The Amazing Portable Wind Fence can eliminate this problem. The Wind Fence is 10' long and 5' high and is comprised of a net that is supported by a PVC framework and 3 pieces of metal rebar. The rebar is pounded into the ground to support the fence. Check out the customer comments on the site. The fence allows you to enjoy the day or the evening even when it gets really windy. It has been said you can play cards in a 30 mph wind. That's how truly amazing the fence is as evidenced by the picture below. The Wind Fence saved the day for this family outing. It can save yours as well. As this is the prime time of year for enjoying outdoors we are putting the Wind Fence on special. By the Wind Fence now for only $79 plus shipping & handling. Regular price is $129.99. Don't miss out on this rare special pricing. |
XTREME VENT NOTICE
Many of you purchased the Xtreme Vent more than a year ago, prior to the time when Coil n' Wrap purchased the company from the inventor of the product. Since then we have made some structural changes to the vent to make it stronger and to prevent the wing from coming off. Some of you have had this experience and it is a nuisance. The original vents had two aluminum rivets in the top of the wing which over time could break. We have replaced the front rivet with a stainless steel rivet and a backup washer. The back aluminum rivet has been replaced with a stainless steel screw. In addition we added a rivet and backup washer to the underside of the nose cone to further strengthen the unit.
If the wing decides to take flight to parts unknown you have to contact us and pay the shipping to have a replacement vent sent out. Sometimes the nose cone is still attached and the only piece you need is a replacement wing, however most of the time, the nose cone is gone meaning the entire vent needs to be replaced.
I would suggest that you go up and check out your vents and see if the wings are still firmly attached to the base. To strengthen your units and make it less likely you will be inconvenienced by this, drill a 1/8" hole behind the back rivet and insert a #8 x 5/8" screw. This will secure the wing and will most likely prevent the loss of the wing. If you like, send an email to shipper@coilnwrap.com and we will send you out at no charge a repair kit, which includes the rivet, washer and screw. The image below shows the postion of the screw, just behind where a rivet had broken off. The front rivet was not replaced in this picture.
