NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT!
Now 1 Person Can Do What Used To Take 2 To Do!
If you own a trailer or 5th wheel you know the drill. You are getting ready to go on a trip and you want to check your lights before you head on down the road. You back up your tow vehicle and plug it in. Put someone in the front seat, walk to the back of unit and start waving your hands testing out the signal lights, brake lights, clearance lights etc. Here is a new way to make it easier. Take our new flashlight sized LightCheck & Safety Plug and plug your 7 pin connector into it. The lights on your unit will now come on. The clearance lights will light, the signal lights and brake lights will flash and the back up lights (if present) will also come on. They will stay on so you can do a walk around and check everything out. If something is not working, just check the handy Trouble Shooting guide on the LightCheck which help you track down the problem. The LightCheck uses the battery on your unit to energize the bulbs, so it will also indicate if you have a battery problem or not.
The Safety Plug aspect of the LightCheck means that if you break down on the road and have to leave your unit on the side of the road, you can plug in LightCheck and the lights will flash for 12 hours on a single battery. This means you're not going to be a road hazard.
One lady wanted one as an emergency flasher for their rig. They had to call 911 one night while parked in a campground. The paramedics couldn't find their rig and wasted valuable time locating them. They had to be led to the campsite in order to find it. She doesn't want to go through that again.
Another person said that the unit would be helpful in finding their way home after dark when they were out riding around in the sand dunes. He remarked that when you come over the hill from a different direction and there is a sea of RV's parked it's not always easy to re-orient yourself. Being able to radio in and have the LightCheck plugged in would easily identify his unit.
Check it out, it will make a great addition to your rig and a nice gift for someone as well. This is an exciting new addition to our product line. We are always looking for ways to make your RV lifestyle, safer, easier and less frustrating!
We are considering making this available for motorhomes as well. Turning this into a one person job when connecting will appeal to many people. Does this idea make sense to you folks with motorized units? Please send me an email at kwilton@coilnwrap.com and let me know.
