                             No Snake Oil Salesman Here!
March 2008

We got lucky this time in Pomona.  We were there for the FMCA show.  This time there was no fires and no flies!  You may recall that the last time we were in Pomona in the fall we had the California fires to deal with and the 250,000 or so flies that were in our rig.  If you missed that newsletter go back and read the November newsletter.  It's quite funny.  Thanks to all of you who patronized our business this past month.

Funny things happen at rallies all the time.  This time a women came up to me and said my husband got out of the shower this morning after using the new shower head he bought from you and said something to the effect that "he had a wonderful shower and was sure glad that the salesman wasn't a snake oil salesman!"

A lady came by the booth and was talking about the Xtreme Vents they had bought and put on their roof.  They had taken their rig in to get some work done and when they came back to get it, one of the techs took them aside and said "Are you folks with the FBI?"  They looked at him incredulously and said, "No, why do you ask that?"  He pointed at the roof vents and said that his supervisor had told them they were security cameras and that the owners were with the FBI.  The security aspect of the Xtreme Vents comes up all the time from customers.  It's a hidden bonus beside eliminating odors and the need for chemicals.

Many of you have been taking advantage of the Specials & Clearance tab on the website.
As a result you have been saving lots of money.  If you haven't checked out this section make sure you do.

NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Now 1 Person Can Do What Used To Take 2 To Do!

LightcheckIf you own a trailer or 5th wheel you know the drill.   You are getting ready to go on a trip and you want to check your lights before you head on down the road.  You back up your tow vehicle and plug it in.  Put someone in the front seat, walk to the back of unit and start waving your hands testing out the signal lights, brake lights, clearance lights etc.  Here is a new way to make it easier.  Take our new flashlight sized LightCheck & Safety Plug and plug your 7 pin connector into it.  The lights on your unit will now come on.  The clearance lights will light, the signal lights and brake lights will flash and the back up lights (if present) will also come on.  They will stay on so you can do a walk around and check everything out.  If something is not working, just check the handy Trouble Shooting guide on the LightCheck which help you track down the problem.  The LightCheck uses the battery on your unit to energize the bulbs, so it will also indicate if you have a battery problem or not.

LightCheck on 5th wheelThe Safety Plug aspect of the LightCheck means that if you break down on the road and have to leave your unit on the side of the road, you can plug in LightCheck and the lights will flash for 12 hours on a single battery.  This means you're not going to be a road hazard.

One lady wanted one as an emergency flasher for their rig.  They had to call 911 one night while parked in a campground.  The paramedics couldn't find their rig and wasted valuable time locating them.  They had to be led to the campsite in order to find it.  She doesn't want to go through that again.

Another person said that the unit would be helpful in finding their way home after dark when they were out riding around in the sand dunes.   He remarked that when you come over the hill from a different direction and there is a sea of RV's parked it's not always easy to re-orient yourself.  Being able to radio in and  have the LightCheck plugged in would easily identify his unit.

Check it out, it will make a great addition to your rig and a nice gift for someone as well.   This is an exciting new addition to our product line.  We are always looking for ways to make your RV lifestyle, safer, easier and less frustrating!

We are considering making this available for motorhomes as well.  Turning this into a one person job when connecting will appeal to many people.  Does this idea make sense to you folks with motorized units?  Please send me an email at kwilton@coilnwrap.com and let me know.

THIS MONTHS MONEY SAVING PROMOTION

Many of you have tried the fantastic Microfiber that we have and come back to the booth and get more of it every year.  Lots of you haven't tried it yet.

This year we introduced our new Bugs 'r Off product which gets the bugs off in a hurry and won't affect your wax or decals as it has NO ammonia or solvents in it.  It works wonders on the front of the unit getting off bugs and road grime.  It also works great on the inside of the windshield as well.

The Bugs 'r Off pre-mix comes in a 16 oz spray bottle and is priced at $9.   The 8 oz concentrate  makes 4 more 16 oz bottles.  (A $36 value.)  The two together would have a value of $45 but you can buy the two pack for $30.  This breaks it down to $6 per 16 oz bottle.

The Microfiber comes as a 3 pack - a scrubber, a duster and glass, chrome and mirror cloth and normally sells for $15.   The guys will love this product for cleaning the windows, mirrors, chrome and especially the scrubber for cleaning the outside of the rig.  The gals will love it inside the rig and in the house.   Once you use it, you will keep coming back for more.  There is no other Microfiber product on the market that can compare.  Try it you'll love it!

The promotion this month is if you buy both you get the 3 pack of Microfiber and the two pack of  Bugs 'r Off for $40.  Just click here to get to the order page.
