Coil n' Wrap®, an innovative manufacturer and
supplier
of after market RV accessories is pleased to
announce
its acquisition of the Xtreme Vent product from
Showtime Inc.
The purchase will enable Coil n' Wrap® to further
expand its product
offerings to the RV after market industry.
Ken Wilton, President of Coil n' Wrap® says the
acquisition of this product will substantially increase
the publics awareness of the Coil n' Wrap® product
line.
Wilton says "The Xtreme Vent has been in the market
for 4 years and has been enthusiastically received by
RVers as it does what it says. It permanently
eliminates odors and smells from the RV! We are
very
excited about the addition of this very popular
product to our line. Before purchasing the product
line from Showtime, we installed the units on our rig
and tested them for nine months. We were so happy
with the product, we bought the company!"
About the Xtreme Vent
The Xtreme Vent is mounted on the holding tank
vents
on the roof of the RV. The vent has an opening in
both ends, allowing the air to flow through the
vent. The front end of the vent gets smaller and
compresses the air. This speeds up
the air flow thus creating a Venturi effect on the
tanks, sucking out odors and smells. The vent works
when the rig is moving and more importantly when
parked as there is always air movement, even on a
still day. The vent tracks into the wind and even a
small amount of air movement will enable the Xtreme
Vent to do its job, eliminating the odors from the rig.
The continual suction creates massive air movement
in the tanks which provides an oxygen rich
environment for the bacteria present in the waste to
multiply and do their natural function of decomposing
the tissues and solids. This is the same procedure
employed by
sewage treatment plants around the nation, aerating
the waste in order to facilitate decomposition. It
does such a great job that many people find they
can cut down or eliminate the use of chemicals,
saving space and money.
At "The Rally"
hosted by Good Sam in Daytona this year they did
an "RV Rescue" where they took a 1985 Winnebago
and did a complete makeover of the unit. This was
done live and crowds of people were watching the rig
being transformed right before their eyes. They put
in a slide, new windows, counters, new skin on the
outside, and on the top they put two Xtreme Vents.
Quite an endorsement of the vent!
